I have really enjoyed travelling far and wide to find wildlife abroad, but there is something especially rewarding about getting to know an area through the different seasons of the year and learning more about a place. My challenge over the next year is to achieve just that. Trying not to head too far from my own doorstep...
Cute little gold crest from a New Years Day walk. Apparently they are the smallest bird in Europe which could explain why it was such a challenge to catch him. But he was patient and stayed around a bit!
